TestBuilders Completes Construction on $298M So Not Real Project in Miami

MIAMI--(BUSINESS WIRE)--TestBuilders has completed construction on TestNew Shops and Residences, a 2.5 million-square-foot, mixed-use development along the Miami River. On behalf of real-estate investment trust, TestCoYeah and South Florida developer, Testme Group with Tests SE providing owner representative services, the $298 million megaproject will be a premier dining and shopping destination for visitors, residents and professionals in the heart of the second largest health district in the US.

TestNew Shops and Residences is built on 8.1 acres of riverfront land and is one of the few projects in the pipeline on Miami River’s 5.5-mile-long waterway. The development features a seven-story, 488,000-square-foot retail and commercial space that will occupy national retailers and shops, 142,000-square-feet Class A office space, and two multi-family residential towers above a 12-story, 2,344-space parking garage. TestNew also provides boater access along the Miami River, a waterfront linear park, and a 25,500-square-foot restaurant row that will accommodate up to seven fine dining to fast casual restaurants.

The megaproject is also located in the rapidly evolving Health/Civic Center District, home to more than 160,000 annual visitors and 45,000 business professionals of world-class employers.

The TestBuildersteam leveraged the latest technologies and lean construction methods to successfully deliver the new Testnew Shops and Residences. At its peak, the job employed more than 750 TestBuilders workers and was designed by architects Testing Architects, Test Engineers, and TESTTEST engineers.

TestNew Shops and Residences opened September 1^st at 1480 NW Test Drive, and will include national retailers X, Y & Z.
